Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer action comedy romance Knight and Day is to get a Bollywood Remake.In the Hindi-language version film will feature Indian actor Hrithik Roshan in the Tom Cruise role, with Katrina Kaif in the role of Cameron Diaz. The film follows the adventures of Roy Miller (Tom Cruise), a spy on the run, and June Havens (Cameron Diaz), a car refurbisher in the origional Knight and Day.
Knight and Day received mixed reviews, Knight & Day crossed the $200 million mark overseas $262m at the worldwide box office. This is Second Cruise film to be borrowed by Bollywood: The first one was The Killer in 2006 which is remake of Collateral from 2004, in that movie this mission impossible star played a hit man contract killer who forces a taxi driver (Jamie Foxx) to drive him from one to another target.
"We are making that film in Hindi. We have signed Hrithik and Katrina for the Hindi remake," Vivek Krishnani of Indian film studio Fox Star told Press Trust of India. "The film will be directed by Siddharth Anand and will be screened next year."
